Ah the joys of a day of leisure, with no one else to care for, but me, myself and I!!! I was too tired (from what I not too sure!?) last night to make sausage rolls to nibble on while waiting for the new year to arrive. So I did them this morning and I shamelessly had them for breakfast: Banger pork sausage wrapped in wonderful flaky pasty, with chunky pineapple sauce for dipping. 
And I followed that up with Scotch eggs! Once in a while, it's good to do the kind of stuff I couldn’t do if I didn’t have the life I have.
